She became a member of Wesley on April, 7 1974 where she participated in the church choirs, youth hand bells, Girl Scouts, bible school, and Sunday school.

Dawn worked at Geisinger Health System for 25 as an Education trainer, and Supervisor of the Admissions Department.
 
Volunteer positions that Dawn has been involved in are Director of Camp Echo.  A week long camp for children with a Cardiac condition and their siblings, the board for Camp Victory, the board for Special Olympics, coach for Special Olympics Power Lifting, the Coop board for Trinity House, helping prepare the dinner for the Gatehouse fund raiser, and helping cook and serve the Thanksgiving meal to Suncom.
