Eileen Thomas has been on staff at Wesley Church, serving as its administrative assistant, since March 1989.

Eileen is proud to be a member of the Professional Association of United Methodist Church Secretaries (PAUMCS) and received certification in 1995 after attending classes the previous year at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Among the many tasks undertaken in the church office, Eileen's favorite is publishing Wesley Tidings, the church's monthly newsletter. She is always looking for items of interest to include. If you have something you think Wesley readers would enjoy reading, please forward it to her.

Eileen is the mother of one son, Andrew, and his wife, Jennifer. Jennifer is a pastor of a United Methodist church here in the Susquehanna Conference. Eileen also loves her new grandson, Micah!

If you ask her about her hobbies, Eileen might just mention her love for covered bridges. She takes trips to photograph and journal them and collects covered bridge paraphernalia. Eileen, a nature lover, spends as much time as possible out-of-doors. She actually enjoys mowing her lawn and washing her car and loves to go to the mountains to pick wild flowers and blueberries.
