Reverend Thomas A. Young became pastor of Wesley Church on July 1, 2000.

Pastor Young graduated from Clearfield High School in 1967. In 1971, he graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Marketing. He went on to graduate from Wesley Seminary in Washington, D.C. in 1978 with a Master of Divinity. He has been a United Methodist Church pastor for more than 34 years.

He and his wife Connie have been married 37 years and they enjoy camping, woodworking, and travel. Tom also enjoys hunting and fishing. Connie enjoys quilting and crafts.

The Young's have three grown children.

Thomas II, is married to Julie. They have a son, Alex.. The family lives in Newburg, PA. Tom works at a local lumber business, while Julie works as a bookkeeper for her uncle in the well drilling business. They recently completed the construction of a log home designed by Julie and built by Tom and his friends.

Christopher, is married to Janine and they have two daughters, Christiana and Rylee. They live in Lawrenceville, PA. Chris works at an environmental lab. Janine works at the Tioga School District as an elementary guidance counselor.

Jill Hartman, is married to Andy. They have two young children, Seth and Abbey, and live in Lebanon, PA. Jill works for Hershey Medical Center at the Lebanon Office as Office Manager. Andy works for Edwards Office Machines repairing office equipment.

Tom and Connie also have a yellow Labrador Retriever, Mindy, who is a rambunctious puppy.
